Welcome to the Unapologetically Bare Mentoring Services FAQ! This section is designed to provide clear and helpful answers to common questions about the mentoring program. Whether you're seeking support, advice, or more information about alopecia, we aim to ensure you feel informed and comfortable.

Are you a Certified Coach?

I am not a Certified Coach.  However, my personal life experiences living with Alopecia for over 20 years, including my volunteer and advocacy work, have garnered me the ability to use my trials as my testimony to help you navigate Alopecia and become the best version of yourself— Unapologetically Bare!

Where are you located?

I am based in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Is the mentoring program customized?

Absolutely!  I understand that everyone's experience with alopecia and their goals are unique. Whether you want to build confidence, enhance your career, or navigate daily life with alopecia, this program is designed to adapt to your needs. We will create a customized plan that aligns with your objectives, providing you with the tools and strategies to thrive.

Are the sessions private and confidential?

All conversations and information shared between Mentor and Mentee are confidential, within the limits of the law. Your personal information will not be disclosed without your explicit consent. However, exceptions may apply in imminent threats or serious harm to oneself or others.

How are the sessions run?

All sessions are online based, which means you can join from wherever is most convenient for you.  A secure zoom link is sent 24 hours before you scheduled session(s).  I'm all about comfort so come as you are because I know I will.  

How long is each session?

Each virtual session is 45 minutes long and based on Eastern Standard Time.

What is your refund policy?

Your purchase of our mentoring services indicates your commitment to work with the program.  I am here to support you so you can become the best version of yourself in spite of your hair loss and part of that entails you being fully committed to this journey.  Therefore, it is in your best interest to decide whether you are in it to win or conclude this mentoring relationship may not be the best option for you.

Upon providing payment for the services, you are authorizing Mentor to process your payment in full.  There are no refunds available on any single session or session packs.  All sales are final, and we do not offer payment plans.

What happens if I can't make my scheduled session?

We understand life happens and you may need to reschedule a mentoring session.  In the event the Mentee needs to reschedule, it is the Mentee's responsibility to notify the Mentor 2 days in advance of the scheduled session(s) via info@yourbaldbestie.com and cancel the session through their account on www.yourbaldbestie.com.  If the Mentee cannot attend a session or will be late to a session the Mentee must rebook the makeup session within 1 week of the Mentee’s cancelled appointment.  Sessions not cancelled within 2 days will not be eligible for makeup. 

 

If the Mentee does not appear on a call within 15 minutes and has not informed the Mentor that they will be late, need to cancel or reschedule their session, the Mentor will note this as a no show of the session and no makeup session will be provided and no refund will be provided.

 

Lastly, we have invested time, energy, and our heart into creating a mentorship discussion that offers motivation, stability, understanding and trust.  If you are late for your appointment, you lose that time.  If you do not show up for your appointment, you lose that time with no make-up session accommodation.  In turn, we will ensure we are on-time to honor your appointments. 

 

If for some reason beyond our control, we must cancel your appointment we will contact you 72 hours before your scheduled appointment and work with you to reschedule your appointment that accommodates both of our schedule and as a courtesy, we will extend the rescheduled session to 1 hour instead of 45 minutes as an act of good faith. 

What if I'm not sure I want to commit?

No problem!  You have the option to book a 20-minute FREE no obligation exploration call to see if this is the right fit for you.  This will give you the opportunity to ask questions, voice your concerns and chat about what goals and expectations you have.

What forms of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards are accepted.  Unfortunately, we currently do not accept payments via PayPal, cheque, money order, western union or wire transfer.

What if I need more sessions?
You can simply purchase an additional package or select the single pay as you go session.
